Junior credit underwriter

For our Budapest office we are looking for a JUNIOR CREDIT UNDERWRITER!

Your function

• Delivers high level support of sales process from application to decision proposal
• Collaborates with all functionalities, sales and account management, credit and risk management and relevant third parties during credit and risk process
• Supports the business units in documents handling, contracting and preparing offers, receives, processes and coordinates incoming standard applications, documentation and quote requests
• Draws up simplified credit application reports as a sound basis for own decision making or decision making by risk committee
• Communicates with clients
• Elaborates and executes processes and procedures to ensure risk mitigation and improvement of credit decision quality

Your profile

o   University or college degree in Economics or Finance (acquired or in progress)

o   High analytical skills

• Excellent language skills in English (both oral and written)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Customer-focused mindset
• Team player capable both of working within a globally diverse team and independently

o   Relevant experience (in the field of credit analysis, underwriting and risk management, preferably in the banking sector) is a plus
